Windows 2000: When I connect peripherals such as a network (LAN) card, a SCSI card or USB devices to my computer, I cannot shift the computer to the standby mode or the suspend mode.

Some peripherals among Windows 2000 ready products do not support the power management system of Windows 2000.

Please note that, when those peripherals are connected to the computer, the power management system such as the standby mode or the suspend mode becomes unusable sometimes in Windows 2000.
