Sony has recently discovered that certain units of Walkman models NW-S603/S605/S703F/S705F/S706F may experience symptoms of having no sound or sound skipping, due to an internal wire breaking within the unit which is dependent on usage.

For Walkman units which have the above symptoms due to the internal wire breaking, Sony will repair the unit free of charge even it is out of warranty period.

<Symptom and Cause>

Certain units of Walkman models NW-S603/S605/S703F/S705F/S706F may experience symptoms of having no sound or sound skipping, caused by an internal wire breaking within the unit which is dependent on usage.
