    A1. Notify BRAVIA is an application from Sony which shows your mobile device's notifications on a Sony's Android TV by performing an easy one-time pairing and hassle-free connection. For more details, refer to:

    Q2. How can I confirm that receiving notifications on my TV works properly after successfully setting up the application on my mobile device?
    A2. You can confirm that the application works properly by following the steps below:

    1. Open the Notify BRAVIA application on your mobile device.
    2. If the Paired TV Device status is Online, you will receive notifications on your TV.

    You can also verify the connection between TV and mobile device by sending a test message from the Notify BRAVIA application by following the steps below:
    1. Select Menu from the application’s main screen.
    2. Select Send Test Message.

      NOTE: Call and other applications’ notifications will be received on your TV only when the mobile device is LOCKED, OFF or the Day dream mode is active.

    Q3. Do I need to setup a connection between my mobile device and TV every time I want to use the Notify BRAVIA application?
    A3. Once the mobile device is paired with your TV, you don’t have to do any setup on your mobile device anymore.

    NOTE: You need to setup again in the following cases.

    • You want to pair your mobile device with another Sony's Android TV.
    • There is a change on your home network (changing a router, etc.).

    A2. No, you can check only the notifications and the total number of incoming calls.

    A3. Yes, it is. On your TV, go to the upper part of the HOME screen, then scroll Right.

     You will see a card named Notify BRAVIA. Select OK, then you will see notification updates from the Notify BRAVIA application.

    Q4. I have installed a new application on my mobile device. Do I need to make any setting to receive notifications on my TV?
    A4. No, you don’t. The application is set up so that your TV receives notifications for all the installed applications by default.

    Q5. How can I receive notifications of selected applications?
    A5. You can set to receive the notification of selected applications by following the steps below:

    1. Open the Notify BRAVIA application.
    2. Select Select Applications under the Information Level section of the application’s main screen.
    3. Select the applications of your choice from the list of available applications.

    Q6. How can I avoid continuous notification updates like the battery status or timer?
    A6. You can set to avoid them by following the steps below: 

    1. On your mobile device, open the Notify BRAVIA mobile application.
    2. Select Select Applications under the Information Level section of the application's main screen.
    3. Unselect the applications which are sending continuous notifications.

    Q7. How can I control the privacy for messages displayed on my TV?
    A7. Message privacy can be controlled from the Notify BRAVIA mobile application.
    Select Information level from the application’s main screen and select the desired level.

    Q1. Why do I get a No Supported TV Devices Found error on my mobile device while searching for my TV?
    A1. This application will only work on Sony's Android TVs. If your TV is not an Android TV, you will get the No Supported TV Devices Found error on your mobile device. Only supported TVs will be available for selection.

    To select the Android TV, your mobile device and TV should be connected to the same home network over Wi-Fi.

    If the error appears even if you have an Android TV, perform the steps below on your TV:

    1. Press the HOME button on the remote.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Apps in the TV categories.
    4. Select System apps in the dialService categories.
    5. Do Clear data, Clear cache and Force stop.
    6. Restart the TV by turning it off and on from the remote.

    NOTE: After performing the steps, you need to setup your mobile device again.
