When the power zoom of the E 16 - 50 mm F 3.5 - 5.6 OSS (SELP1650) lens is operated while shooting movies, the sound of the lens and the camera in operation is recorded.

The sound of the lens and the camera in operation may be recorded while shooting a movie when power zoom is being utilized. With this, it is recommended to adjust the zoom level of the camera using the zooming lever.

Note that when using the zooming lever, place your finger lightly on the lever and do not flick the lever quickly.

Note: On certain cameras it is possible to connect an external microphone. By using an external microphone it is possible to minimize the amount of operation sound from the camera to be recorded, for example if the microphone is placed at some distance from the camera.
