Three popular and youthful artistes comprising of Jessica Mauboy , Steve Appleton and Jody Williams, tries out the Sony PCM-M10 musician recorder and the MDR-V900HD studio monitoring headphones. Interviewer: After listening to your live recording and playback with the PCM-M10 and MDR-V900HD, what are your thoughts about the 2 products and how useful will they be for your music career?

Jessica Mauboy: Woah! I can’t even hear any background noise from this recorded file! I personally think that it’s so easy to use, wherever you are. Currently, I’m still using my tape recorder. I still have to press the orange button to record. It still runs pretty good…but if you have something like PCM-M10, it will be even better!

Steve Appleton: I produce my own music so these 2 products interest me very much. When I was back in school, I will bring my laptop around just to record the lectures. But look at this recorder here! It is so much smaller and convenient for recording usage!

I usually use my iPhone to record sudden music inspirations while on the move. But with this recorder, I can just slip it into my bag or pocket. The quality is simply amazing!

I’m surprised by the microphone quality and that we need not plug in the left-right input. This recorder blends in the mix of guitar and our voices very well. These 2 products are definitely going to be in my bag wherever I go.

Jody Williams: I don’t have any recorder so I usually go to the studio and record. And it’s expensive! However, with such recorders, you don’t have to pay so much to do studio recording anymore.

Saves a lot of time. Just slip into your bag. It’s just good! Just awesome!
